Video: Library
Level: Intermeduate
I love spending time at the library. Sometimes, I like to go there to relax and read magazines. Other times, I like to go to do my homework. Some libraries have CDs and DVDs you can borrow.

Download the student worksheet and then watch the video. This video will help you practice your listening skills by giving you a dictation. Write what you hear on the worksheet. The answers are at the end of the video, or you can download the transcription file.

Teacher Note: You can use the transcription to do the dictation in class. The students can write their answers on the student worksheet.

Video: Campus
Level: Intermediate
You might feel nervous your first day on campus because you don't know the campus very well.

Use the worksheet to do the exercises. You'll be asked to find different buildings on campus and answer other questions using the map. The answers are included in the video. Pause it if necessary.

Video: Coffee Shop
Level: Intermediate
I love coffee shops. I can relax, read, watch people come and go...What if I could plan the same day 3 different ways with the same pictures? How? Watch the video.

You will hear 3 versions of a story with the same pictures. You'll need to organize the pictures in the order that they happen. The answers are at the end of the video, or you can download the transcription file,

Teacher Note: You can use the the transcription to read the stories in class. The students can write their answers on the student worksheet.

Video:  Walnut River Community College Students
Level: Intermediate
Going to college is for many people the best time of their lives. It's a place where you can make lifelong friends and explore things that interest you. Come meet some of my friends from Walnut River Community College.

We recommend that you download the worksheet before watching the video. Pause the video if you need to write down your answers. The answers are at the end of the video or you can download the answer key (listening_wrcc_answers).

Teacher Note: The transcript of the video is included in case you would rather read (or modify) the script in class. You could even use part of it as a dictation.

Video: What I did on Saturday
Level: Intermediate
It's common on Monday's to have people ask me 'Hey, what did you do this weekend?' If you watch the video you will see what I did on Saturday.

This video will check your listening skills. You will need to watch the video and put the pictures in the correct order. The answers are at the end of the video.

There are two files.  The file named 'listening_saturday_order_pics' is the student worksheet that has the pictures you need to put in the correct order. The second file named 'Saturday_Transcription' has the words of the story.

Teacher Note: You can use the transcription to do the activity in class. You can either read it or give a copy of it to the students and have them fill out the worksheet.
